The Circle — Whistler's Skate, Snow & Lifestyle Shop

Nestled in the heart of Canada’s snowboard capital, Whistler, British Columbia, The Circle is an independent skate, snow and lifestyle boutique with a passion for good products, good people and the culture that surrounds them.

Established in 1997 by professional snowboarders Kevin Young and Marc Morriset, The Circle began as a place where like-minded snowboarders could come together and call home. Today, the store is owned by Steve Harris from British Columbia and Laura Woerlee from New Zealand, who were both professional snowboarders and have been snowboarding in Whistler since they were 16.

Shaped like a circle, the store offers a retail experience that is as unique as its merchandise, customers, staff and surroundings.

You'll find The Circle on Main Street in Whistler, just off the beaten path of the Village Stroll. Some people take days—or even years—to discover us, but we think it's worth the search.

We curate products from around the world, seeking out brands and goods that our customers crave. From snowboarding and skateboarding to clothing, footwear, accessories and lifestyle pieces, everything in the store is chosen with intention.

Our staff are passionate, knowledgeable and deeply connected to the products they sell. They're riders, skaters and people who live the skate, snow and lifestyle that has shaped The Circle for almost three decades.

We take pride in everything we bring into the store. Our products are carefully hand-picked by our team, and we're always looking for the brands, products and ideas that keep our community and our industry relevant and alive.

The Circle Kids

As our customers grew up and started families of their own, The Circle Kids was born. We wanted to create a kids' store that felt like a natural extension of The Circle — a place where parents could find well-designed, comfortable and fun clothing, footwear, accessories, toys and snow gear for their children.

Today, The Circle Kids offers clothing and gear for babies through kids around age 14, with two stores located side by side on Main Street in Whistler.

We're proud to be part of the Whistler community and to support the local skate and snow culture that has inspired us since 1997.
