The Matriarch 2027 Snowboard
The Capita The Matriarch 2027 is the board shaped with Torstein Horgmo for riders who see the mountain not just for what it is, but for what it could be: the place where freestyle creativity meets backcountry possibilities.
It is a directional cambered board with 7/10 flex and the Alpine V4 Directional profile: higher traditional camber through the mid-section, low smooth tips and slightly raised contact points. Big-radius tips let it flex like a freestyle machine and float like a powder board. Explosive pop, dynamic control and natural float on natural features, powder laps and variable conditions.
The new ultralight Transcend Core™ is reinforced with full-length Bamboo Power Beams™ for power and response, working with Fairmat Carbon™ Amplifiers and HolySheet™ Tri/Tri with plant-based Magic Bean™ resin. The thicker, very fast HyperDrive™ ADV XT base, 360 degree HRC48 steel edges and ABS1000 sidewalls complete a light and agile chassis.
It is designed for advanced riders who move from park to powder with the same mindset: the board to own your local park and stand confident at the drop-in of a Natural Selection™ line.
